The University offers training courses which provide entry-level instruction on University-wide systems. These include instruction on general navigation within the Banner system and use of the University reporting tool.

Banner Navigation: A general Banner Navigation training course is offered primarily for those who do not have experience with Banner.

AppXtender Online Learning through Blackboard (Imaging): ApplicationXtender represents the University's universal imaging tool for all Banner systems including finance and human resources. This online, self-paced program will provide you with the knowledge and skill necessary for imaging and viewing electronic documents using Applicationxtender.

Cognos Online Learning through Blackboard (Report Nagivation): The Business Intelligence & Reporting System (BIRS) also referred to as Cognos or Cognos ReportNet, represents the University's universal reporting tool for extracting data from all Banner systems, including FMS and HRMS. This online, self-paced program will familiarize you with the navigation and features of Cognos.
