Standard Employment Search Process
The employment search process applies to all vacant Director and Associate Director of Business Affairs positions in both academic and non-academic schools, colleges and divisions (SCD). In the event that unique circumstances require an expedited hire to fill a vacancy, a waiver of this process must be justified by the school, college or division and approved by the President or Provost. This search process was developed by the Business Management Advisory Committee in consultation with all constituent groups and approved by the President in May 2009. The purpose of this process is to ensure consistency and objectivity in employment searches for these common positions which exist across campus in all SCDs. It also provides an opportunity for collaboration throughout the employment search between the SCD and the central administrative units which interact with these positions.
